A Brief History Lesson - - -

   The United States of America men's national soccer team represents the United States in international association football (known as soccer in the United States) competition and is controlled by the United States Soccer Federation. Though soccer has not traditionally had a high profile in American sporting life, the sport has steadily grown in popularity since the 1970s.

The team is, according to the FIFA World Rankings, ranked 14th in the world and first in CONCACAF and has appeared in the last six FIFA World Cups, including hosting the 1994 edition.

The team's best finish in the FIFA World Cup came in the inaugural 1930 tournament where it finished third. More recently, it finished fourth in the 1995 Copa Américaand reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup. The United States has won the CONCACAF Gold Cup four times in ten tournaments, second only to Mexico. In 2009 the team reached its first FIFA international final at the Confederations Cup, beating reigning European champions Spain on its way to a narrow defeat in the final against Brazil.

    Today our national soccer team once again made it to the quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup. Hopefully our boys reping the RED WHITE & BLUE will keep up the intense play and make us proud. On the other hand these referee officials better start opening their eyes, frankly it's upsetting more than a few and shit is gonna go down if another Ref is on some bullshit.

      Yesterday marked the most anticipated day the music world has yet to see. Drake, Drizzy, Aubrey, whatever you want to call him has been giving us free music for awhile now and i must say the tunes he has, are the best yet. Since the announcement of the release date June 15th, i'm sure everyone with an ear has been waiting for Thank Me Later. Crooks & Castles supports this man tremendously. Not only did the Crooks team make a custom Limited a Edition shirt to rep the cover of Drakes new album, but frontman of the whole Crooks operation Dennis Calvero went to his local best buy and bought every

1st of the Month

    Wake up, wake up, wake up, waaaake uuuuppp, it's the first of the month. A short but long 4day weekend if that makes any sense. Had some fun in the sun with no burns. Parker AZ, we shall see you soon. Now i'm congested with fl-em. grrrrrrrr. Not fun for the start of June; hopefully we don't get so much gloom but more sunshine on the California side. Second time of missing my obligation this class and i don't plan on making it a habit. It really is unsanitary to spread germs all over everything though. So I am here reporting to my thoughts, in a way its good of me. I plan on making June something to remember this 2010. au revoir until then.
